Job Description 

  1. Handling customer enquiry, solve customer problem, and providing information about products or services.  
  2. Processing quotation, shipping order and prepare shipping document for export. 
  3. Provide customer support on price quotation and delivery advice. 
  4. Monitor and follow up on the quotation sent, negotiate and communicate with the customer in order to close the order. 
  5. Process and track customer orders to ensure on-time delivery. 
  6. Handle customer complaints and disputes and take appropriate action to resolve issues. 
  7. Maintain the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

Job Description

Account Payables

  1. Match delivery orders (DO) from the store with invoices from vendors.
  2. Key in invoices for both vendors and transporters (MIRO & FB60).
  3. Process monthly staff claims.
  4. Prepare utility payments each month and ensure payments are made before the due date.
  5. Generate payment vouchers after processing payments.
  6. Perform reconciliation for Vendor Statements of Account (SOA).
  7. Issue credit notes (CN) and debit notes (DN) as necessary.
  8. Maintain organized filing systems for financial records.

Account Receivables / Credit Control

  1. Check daily bank balances and offset payments from customers.
  2. Monitor delivery notes (DN) to prevent overdue situations.
  3. Issue debit notes for early payment rebates (ERP) when customers pay early.
  4. Generate scrap invoices.
  5. Generate monthly SOA and send them to customers.
  6. Evaluate creditworthiness and submit credit requests for approval.
  7. Conduct annual customer credit reviews.

Treasury

  1. Maintain tables and monitor collateral and bank guarantees (BG) for customers.
  2. Prepare credit application files and gather details from the sales team.
  3. Prepare documents for bank application (sales/purchase invoices).
  4. Liaise directly with bankers regarding relevant matters.
  5. Provide invoices/documents required for incoming payments from overseas customers.
  6. Visit the bank to submit documents (TT, Cheque, RC rollover, and BA application).
  7. Monitor Banker's Acceptance (BA) maturity dates and ensure sufficient funds for payment.
  8. Monitor RC rollover due dates.
  9. Request exchange rates from bankers for RC rollovers and BA applications, obtaining approval from treasury and higher management.
  10. Perform daily REPO for excess funds in various currencies (RM, USD, etc.).

Month- End Closing

  1. Ensure all incoming funds are properly offset.
  2. Verify that all Accounts Payable (AP) invoices and payments are correctly entered into SAP.
  3. Check and monitor the Goods in Transit (GIT) and prepayment schedules.
  4. Run monthly AP closing.
  5. Run depreciation calculations after all AP and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities are completed.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / ACCA or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 4 years of working experience in the related field.
  3. Financial focus and experience, sensitive in numbers.
  4. Strong analytical mind and interpersonal skills.
